America Week

I love "America" Week! We did lots of fun things this week! 

We started the week by making flags!

We learned all about the Liberty Bell and made some of our own too!

Next, we learned about the Bald Eagle. This one was tricky to make. They had to trace one foot and two hands and then cut them out! Lots of fine motor practice! :) They did great! 

We have also been working on our names a lot so we did them in stars! 

For our interactive writing time, we wrote The Pledge of Allegiance. They did so well with all the BIG words! :) On Friday, we graphed our favorite US Symbol. 

We also did a Venn diagram comparing the American flag to the Texas flag.
