Last week we learned all about apples! We had lots of fun, especially eating them! :)
For our interactive writing, we labeled our giant apple and then made a step by step list on how to make our applesauce. (Boy did it turn out yummy!)
We did an apple glyph. I love the way these always turn out!
We all tried each kind of apple then we graphed which was our favorite with links.
In Math, we practiced patterns by using little apples. We also started talking about circumference. We all guessed what we thought the circumference was-only one friend was right! :)
I think everyone's favorite thing last week was when we made applesauce. We cooked it in the crockpot so we enjoyed smelling it cook all day. We got it eat it for our snack in the afternoon! It was quite a hit! This is how it looks once it was done right before we smashed it up to eat it!
Lastly, we used apples to help paint our Johnny Appleseed drawings.
